I'm part of the Amoda Digital Showcase 40 ! With the Grains & Pixels Live at Gallery 54 video, and a live recording using Scramble Software

Alongside live performances by DAT Politics (France) and Kevin Blechdom (Germany), along with local musician Proem and a DJ set by Majora y Minora.

Visual art will include digital video pieces by C505 (NYC), Bertrand Gondouin (Sweden), Adam Kendall (NYC), Paul Giggo (Austin), and Chris Jordan (NYC), along with animations by Motomichi Nakamura (NYC), Michael Miles (Chicago), and Friends With You (Miami), and an installation piece by Dan Winckler (NYC).

Grains & Pixels is having a show at Mobileart 05 ! An exhibition and festival open to works based on the theme "Today in Paradise - Genetics & Art"

For such a theme, Kristofer is already cooking a genetic Artificial Intelligence pancake software, Jacob is cleaning his hummer and his bayerishe-beat-box, and Bertrand is having a psychoanalysis with fake spiders.

« The performance is a an exploration of raw material that is arranged into complex, dynamic patterns and processes. It shows that this seemingly abstract procedure could be productive as an artistic device.

Through an intense duration - appearing more like a line of flight that produced its own space, than a foreclosed story defined by the limits of grammar - this piece of work challenges the concept of chronological time and three-dimensional space.

The performance has an amazingly poetic and cinematographic quality in which the level of abstraction, in itself, appeared to be an essential component. »

A red ball, some dot matrix prints, beautiful music, real attractors and AI goodies.

Bertrand Gondouin, Jacob Munkberg och Kristofer Sunden Ringner will be working in house and invites you to follow Grains & Pixels - a collective creation where the limits between the workingprocess and the final product is blurred. Similarly to old school painters who manufactured their own oil and colors, Grains & Pixels create their own software and interfaces.

The galleryspace will be filled with historic (and nostalgic!) references and a dokumentation of the workingprocess that culminates in a performance on Saturday the 30th October at 6 p.m. Welcome!
